M S Industrial Training Institute

Our training center is on the first floor of the Kbc building, right across from Gandhi Maidan in Mango. It’s a busy part of Jamshedpur, and you can see the Union Bank right next door. We spend a lot of time in the workshops here. The institute is full of tools, engines, and electrical kits because that’s what the students need to learn. It’s not a quiet place. There is always the sound of someone filing metal or working on a circuit. We set this up to help young people get some practical skills so they can find decent work in the factories nearby. The classrooms are simple with wooden desks and posters of diagrams on the walls. We don't have any high-end office furniture because we’d rather spend that on better tools for the shop floor. Our instructors are people who have actually worked in the industry, so they talk about real problems, not just what’s in the books. Usually, the hallways are full of students in their uniforms rushing between theory classes and practical sessions. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work. Being near Azad Nagar means a lot of local boys come here to learn a trade. We just keep our heads down and focus on the training. It’s honest work and we are glad to be part of the community here in this corner of the city.
