Arogyam Hospital

Our hospital is located in the Baridih area, and it’s been around for a good while now. It’s not one of those massive buildings you see in the city center; it’s a more modest place that fits into the neighborhood. People around here know where to find us when they are feeling under the weather. The lobby is usually filled with the sound of the local news playing on a small television we keep in the corner. We have a few benches that have been here since we first opened, and they’ve held a lot of worried families over the years. The staff here is mostly from the surrounding blocks, so there is a lot of talking about local things while we work. The parking situation outside can be a bit of a headache during the peak hours, especially on the narrower side of the road, but people usually find a spot eventually. We deal with everything from basic checkups to more serious stuff that requires staying overnight. The rooms are plain but we try to keep them as clean as possible. Sometimes the delivery of medical supplies arrives late and we have to shuffle things around in the store room. It’s just the daily rhythm of running a hospital in Baridih. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most of our work comes from word of mouth between neighbors. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
