We are based out in the Adityapur 2nd Phase, specifically on Road No. 6 at plot A32 P. It’s an industrial area, so it gets pretty dusty and loud with all the trucks moving around. At Girija Foods, we spend our days making food products that people use every day. We aren't some giant corporation with robots; we have real people working the machines and checking the quality. It’s a lot of hard work keeping the kitchen area clean and making sure the recipes stay the same every single time. Sometimes the ingredients change slightly because of the season, so we have to adjust. We started this company because we saw a gap in the local market for good, reliable food items. We don't spend money on fancy marketing or TV ads. We just focus on making sure the packets that leave our warehouse are good. If someone has a problem with a batch, they call us up and we talk it through. That’s how we’ve always done it. Being in Phase 2 of the industrial area means we are close to our distributors, which helps. It’s a practical business. We show up early, we make the products, and we head home. If you’re ever driving down Road No. 6, you’ll probably smell whatever we are cooking that day. We just try to keep the quality steady and the prices where people can afford them.
