Wild Orchid Restaurant

You can find us over at Wild Orchid Restaurant, which is part of the Central Hotel. We are located right on the National Highway, at 31-A. Since we are on the highway, we see a lot of people who are just passing through on their way to other places. It’s a bit of a transit spot. The hotel has been around for a long time, and we run the restaurant part of it. It’s not the quietest place because of the trucks and cars zooming by on the NH, but that is part of the life here. We start our days pretty early to make sure there is something ready for the travelers. The air up here can get cold, so we try to keep the place feeling alright. We don't have any big marketing brochures or anything fancy like that. It is just a dining room with some tables and a kitchen in the back. Most of our staff have been here for a long time. We know the highway life well. Sometimes we get locals from the nearby area too, but mostly it's people looking for a break from their drive. We just provide a place to sit and eat. There isn't much more to it than that. We keep the place running, handle the supplies, and wait for the next set of customers to arrive. It is a simple way to live and we are used to the rhythm of the road.
