Lord Tours And Travels

Lord Tours and Travels is located on the N.H. Way, right below Titanic Park and across from M G Marg. We’re also opposite the Andhra Bank, so we’re in a very central spot. Most of what we do involves organizing treks and tours for people wanting to see the mountains. It’s a small office, and we have a lot of gear like backpacks and poles sitting around. We spend a lot of time talking to trekkers about the trails and what the weather is likely to do. Since we’re near M G Marg, there’s always a crowd of people walking past our door. It gets quite busy during the trekking season, and sometimes we’re so packed with people that there’s barely room to stand. We act as operators and agents, so we’re always on the phone with guides or transport guys. It’s a bit of a juggle sometimes. We don't have a polished sales pitch; we just tell people what to expect on the trails. Some days the office is a mess of maps and permits, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We’ve been here for years and have seen the park and the road change quite a bit. It’s a lot of work to make sure every trip goes smoothly, but we enjoy the chaos of it.
