Denzong Inn

Denzong Inn is located right on Lal Bazaar Road. If you know this area, you know it’s where a lot of the local activity happens. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, watching the street change over the years. Our building is right in the thick of it. It’s not one of those new, shiny hotels you see in the bigger cities, but it’s sturdy and does the job. We have different rooms for people passing through, some with better views of the street than others. The weather here can be a bit unpredictable, so we spend a lot of time making sure the rooms stay dry and warm when the clouds come down. We handle everything ourselves, from checking people in at the front desk to making sure the tea is ready in the morning. Lal Bazaar can be noisy with all the shops and people moving about, but that’s just how life is here. We don't have a gym or a swimming pool or anything like that. It’s just a place to stay while you’re visiting or doing business in town. Sometimes the pipes are a bit loud or the floorboards creak, but that’s part of an older building. We like being centrally located because everything you might need is just a short walk away. It’s a simple operation, really. Our staff is small, and we just try to keep the place clean and functional for everyone who stays here.
