Our workspace is right here in Flat No 12 of the Parvati Building 1. It is a quiet spot in Khandwa, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. We have been here long enough that the guard knows our lunch schedule. Dealing with lifespaces and property means we have a lot of maps rolled up in the corner of the room. Sometimes the office gets a bit dusty because of the road work nearby, but we just keep a cloth handy and carry on with our tasks. It is a small team, mostly just us and a few part-time helpers who come in when things get really busy. We usually have the radio on in the background while we sort out the registration papers and tax documents. The sunlight comes in quite nicely through the balcony in the afternoons, which helps with the mood. It is not a corporate setup by any means. We have mismatched chairs and a printer that makes a strange clicking noise every time it starts up. People often get confused with the address because of how the house numbering works around here, so we end up standing by the gate to wave them in. It is just a regular office where we do our bit every day. We focus on getting the paperwork right and making sure nobody misses a deadline. It gets quiet in the evenings, which is nice for finishing up.
