We are a group of people who care about how the water and the land work together. In our part of Madhya Pradesh, water is everything, so the watershed part of our name is really important to what we do every day. We aren't some big city company; we are just neighbors working on the same land. The office is just a regular village home where we keep our files and meet up after the day's work is finished. Sometimes we meet under a tree if the weather is nice. We talk about irrigation, soil, and how to get the most out of our small plots of land. It’s hard work and the sun can be brutal, but we stick together as a producer company to make things easier. We don't use polished language or have big presentations. We just look at the fields and talk about what needs to be done next. Being in Kurrai means we are close to the problems and the solutions.
