This office is located way out in Purba Medenipur, in a village called Kumar Pur. If you’re looking for us, you’ll need to head down Jun Put Road. We are c/o Sri Bishnu Pada Bera, which is how most people find the place in this part of West Bengal. It’s a rural setting, very different from the big city offices you see in Kolkata. Here, the pace of life is a bit slower, but the work we do as quantity surveyors still requires a lot of focus. We spend a lot of time looking at measurements, costs, and materials. The office is part of the local landscape, surrounded by green space and the quiet of the village. It’s not a fancy building, just a practical space where we can spread out our maps and documents. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets a bit slow because of the location, but that’s just part of living in Kumar Pur. We’ve been working here for a long time and the local community knows us. People stop by to chat or ask about ongoing construction projects in the district. It’s a very grounded way to work. You won’t find any corporate uniforms or strict hierarchies here. We just sit at the table, do the math, and make sure the numbers add up for the jobs we take on.
