We operate from the Hpl Link Road in Durgachak, which is in the Haldia area of West Bengal. Our office is located right near the main industrial traffic, so there is always dust and the sound of heavy trucks going by. We focus on infrastructure projects, which means we spend a lot of our time dealing with roads, pipes, and large foundations. The office is a simple building where we keep the records for the equipment and the payroll for the site workers. We have a lot of heavy machinery that we have to move around, and the link road is where we coordinate all those movements. It is a tough environment because the air is often thick with the smell from the nearby plants and the port. We do not have any promotional materials or a sales team. Most of our work comes from being in the right place at the right time in this industrial zone. We have a small group of staff who manage the daily logs and make sure the fuel for the machines is ordered. It is not a clean job, and we usually end the day with dirt on our clothes. We just focus on getting the paving or the earthmoving done according to the schedule. It is a basic operation, and we just try to keep the machines running and the projects moving forward.
