Haldia is a big industrial hub, and being in the Hrel Township at A31/3C puts us right in the middle of it. We are located near Rayrayanchawk, and you have to go via Debhog to find us. Working for Indian Oil Corporation Limited here means being surrounded by pipes, tanks, and a lot of heavy machinery. The township is a bit of a self-contained world. We have been here for quite some time, and the office has that specific smell of old paper and industrial air. We spend our days coordinating with the refinery and the port nearby. It is a lot of logistical work, making sure the flow of oil doesn't stop. Sometimes the humidity in West Bengal is so thick you can almost feel it, but we have our routines to keep us going. We aren't here to impress anyone with a big showroom. Our desks are covered in ledgers and technical manuals. We deal with the realities of industrial life every day. Whether it is a delay at the jetty or a paperwork error from the main office, we just sit down and fix it. It is a hard-working atmosphere where people value getting things done correctly. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay organized in the middle of all the noise and the constant movement of the heavy trucks.
