Graduate Engineer Trainee

This particular setup for Graduate Engineer Trainee is located at the Tata Chemicals Ltd. Guest House in Durgachak, Haldia. Specifically, we are under the care of Ksh.Premkishan Singh there. Being in a guest house means the environment is a bit different from a standard office. It’s more of a temporary home base while we undergo our training at the industrial plant. The guest house is functional and we spend our evenings going over what we learned during the day shift. It’s not a place for fancy meetings. We usually sit in the common area with our notebooks. The food is okay, and the rooms are simple. We don’t have any big marketing goals. We are here to learn from the seniors at the plant and get our hands dirty with the actual machinery. Sometimes the power goes out, and we just wait it out. It’s a very practical, no-nonsense life for a trainee here. We aren't a big company with a board of directors, just a small unit of engineers-in-the-making staying at a guest house in Haldia. We are just trying to get through the program and move on to the next stage in our careers and life.
