Chemist

You can find us in Mitrachak village, which is under the Heria post office in the Khejuri area. We are located in the Purba Medinipur district of West Bengal. It is a bit of a trek to get out here if you aren't from around these parts. We run a small chemist shop that serves the local people in the village. The address is simple because everyone knows everyone else. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy. Just a small room with shelves from floor to ceiling. We stock all the usual medicines and some basic first aid stuff too. Living and working in the village means we have to be prepared for when the weather gets bad and the roads are hard to pass. We spend our mornings checking our stock levels and writing down what we need to order next from the town. The pin code here is 721430. We don't have a lot of staff, usually just one or two of us around to help out. It’s a quiet existence for the most part. We see the same people every day and we hear all the local news. We aren't looking to expand or become a big company. We are just happy to be here in Mitrachak doing what we do. It’s honest work and it keeps the community going. We just take it one day at a time and help whoever walks in.
