Down in Durgachak Uttarpally, we have our setup. It’s part of Haldia, over in the Purba Medinipur district. The area is quite green but also industrial because of the port nearby. We handle trading, which basically means a lot of buying and selling and keeping track of inventory. Our office is in the village part, so it’s a bit quieter than the main docks. We see a lot of trucks moving through the district. Being in West Bengal, the humidity is something we just live with every day. We have a small office where we keep our books and a few chairs. The PIN is 721602. Most of our days are spent talking to suppliers or checking on deliveries. We know the local roads well and how long it takes to get things moved. It’s a straightforward business. No big meetings or presentations, just honest trading. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, but we still get to work. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. People here know us by name and stop by for a chat sometimes. We just buy what's needed and sell it to those who want it. It’s not complicated, just the way we’ve always done it here in Durgachak. The overhead fan keeps things moving when it is still and heavy outside. It is just our way of life here.
