At New Parli Thermal Project Parli

We are currently based out in Vill Kanakpur, near the Panskura railway station area in West Bengal. This is where the main work for the thermal project is happening right now. It is quite a distance from the main city, and things move at a much slower pace out here in the countryside. Our office is more of a temporary setup to handle the daily operations and paperwork of the project. We have got people coming in from all over to work on this site, so it gets pretty crowded and noisy during the day. Living and working in Midnapur has its own set of challenges, like the intense heat and the limited shops nearby, but we make do with what we have. We are not here to give speeches or win awards for our work. We are just here to make sure the construction of the plant keeps moving forward every day. It is a lot of coordination between the different teams and making sure the parts arrive at the site on time. Sometimes we spend more time on the dusty roads than in the actual office. It is just the nature of this kind of project work. We eat together, work together, and sometimes we all complain about the weather together. It is a plain and simple life focused on the job at hand. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do.
