Aneri Construction

Aneri Construction is based out of Kolaghat in West Bengal. Our mailing address is P.O Amalhanda, and the zip is 721134. It’s a nice enough area and we’ve been working around here for a good while. The office is just a small place where we keep the ledgers and the site plans. Most of our days are spent out in the humidity, checking on the workers and the progress of whatever we are building at the moment. Kolaghat has its own rhythm and we fit right into it. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. If someone needs a building put up, they usually just come and find us at the P.O. area. We do a lot of small-scale construction, mostly for folks we know or who have heard about us from their neighbors. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we know how to do. The ground here can be tricky for foundations, so we have to be careful with how we start things. We use the local materials as much as we can. It saves on transport and supports the other businesses in the village. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to build solid structures that will last for the people living in this part of West Bengal. It’s a lot of sweat and long hours, but seeing a finished house makes it worth it. We just keep it simple.
