Alstom Project India Ltd

Over in Haldia in the E Block of Durgachawk Colony is where we set up Alstom Project India Ltd. Being in Medinipur means we are surrounded by a lot of industrial activity. Our office is right in the middle of a residential and industrial mix. It is a lively place to work. We deal with various projects and all the paperwork that comes with them. We do not use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone who walks in. The team just focuses on the technical requirements of the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we just wait it out or use the generator. It is part of the local life in West Bengal. We know the people at the nearby tea stall and the other offices in the colony. It feels like a neighborhood business even though the projects we handle are quite large. We have a lot of files and old blueprints lying around the shelves. It shows how long we have been at this. We do not have a receptionist in a fancy uniform. You just walk in and talk to whoever is at the desk. It is a straightforward way of doing things. We think it works best for us. Haldia is a busy port town and there is always something happening. We just try to keep our projects moving forward without any unnecessary drama.
