Thirumala Traders

We are located on East Laban Road in Shillong. Thirumala Traders has been around here for a good while. Living and working in Meghalaya means you get used to the weather. Sometimes it's raining for days and we just keep the shop open regardless. We trade in various goods. It mostly depends on what’s needed in the market and what we can get in stock. The street outside can get pretty narrow and crowded. Laban is a nice part of town, though. It feels like home to us. Our building is just a standard spot on the side of the road. We don't have fancy lights or big glowing signs. People in the neighborhood know where we are. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and checking the stock in the back. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. Sometimes the shipments take a while to get up the hills. That’s just part of being in Shillong. We don't mind it much. We’ve built up a solid routine over the years. It’s just us doing our thing every day. We aren't some big corporation with a hundred different branches. It’s just this one spot. We try to be fair and keep things straightforward with everyone. If someone comes in looking for something, we tell them if we have it or not. No sense in making things complicated. The 793004 area is where we've always been. It works for us and we just keep going.
