D.B Real Estate is a small outfit situated in Madan Laban. If you know where the Railway Rest House is, then you’ve basically found us because we’re right across from it. It’s a decent location, though the trains can be a bit loud when they pass through nearby. Our office is pretty modest. We have a few chairs for visitors and a table that’s usually covered in maps and local property listings. We don't go in for big displays or shiny signs. Most of the people who come to us are just locals looking to move or find a small plot. We spend a lot of time walking around Madan Laban to see how the different houses are holding up. It’s a regular job, and we try to do it right. Sometimes the tea stall down the road brings us over some snacks while we’re working through the afternoon. It feels more like a community here than a cold business district. We’ve seen a lot of families move in and out of the neighborhood over the years. We keep our records in some old filing cabinets that have been with us since we started. It’s not a high-tech setup, but we know where everything is. We just tell people the facts about the places we show them and let them decide for themselves. It’s a quiet life most of the time, and we like it that way.
