ScriptsCode Consultants LLP is based out of Laban, specifically at Loribon Cottage which belongs to Anita Lyngdoh. It is 27/1 Lumparing West, right below the Laban Girls higher secondary school. If you know the area, it is quite a hilly walk up and down those narrow lanes. The office is in a house, so it feels more like a home than a corporate workplace. We do consulting work here. Most of the time we are just sitting at our desks working through whatever project is currently on the go. Being near the school means it gets quite loud when the kids are coming or going, but otherwise, it is a peaceful part of East Khasi Hills. Meghalaya weather often means we are working while it rains outside, which is actually quite nice. We have our computers and some basic office stuff set up in the rooms. It is not a big fancy operation with a reception desk or anything. We just answer the door ourselves. The work involves a lot of thinking and talking through problems for our clients. We have been at this address for a while. The cottage has its own character and we like working from here instead of some generic office building in the middle of a city. It feels more real this way. We just keep our heads down and get the consulting jobs done as they come in.
