Rlt Constructions Private Limited

We started out near R P Motors in Mawiong and we have been here for a good while now. It is always a bit noisy and busy with the traffic and all the big trucks coming through from the highway. We mostly deal with building stuff around the East Khasi Hills area. It is not exactly easy work because the hills are so steep and the rain in Shillong really does not help much at all. Most days we are just trying to keep the sites moving forward and making sure the materials arrive on time, which is actually harder than it sounds when the roads get muddy and slippery. We have a small team, just regular local people who know the terrain well and do not mind the hard work. We do not have a big fancy office with glass walls or anything like that, just this place here in Mawiong where we keep our paperwork and meet up in the mornings to plan the day. Sometimes things get delayed because of the weather or because it is hard to find enough labor, but we just keep at it. It is a lot of coordination between different sites and we spend a lot of time on the phone or driving between here and the city. The hills have their own way of doing things and you just have to respect that when you are building. We are just doing the work day by day and trying to get things finished.
