Madstitches Design Studio Llp

Madstitches Design Studio Llp is over in Shillong, specifically at number 12 in Umpling. We are part of the R R Colony in the East Khasi Hills. If you have ever been to Shillong, you know it can get quite chilly and misty, so our studio is often kept closed up to keep the warmth in. We have a small space where we do all our design work. There are sketches pinned to the walls and thread cones everywhere you look. It is not a very big room, so things can get a little cramped when we have a lot of projects going on at once. We spend our days sitting at the machines or huddled over the cutting table. The atmosphere is pretty quiet, aside from the sound of scissors and the occasional radio playing in the background. Being in Meghalaya, the pace of life is a bit slower, and we like it that way. We do not have a fancy corporate structure. It is just a group of us who enjoy working with our hands. Sometimes the rain hits the roof so hard we can barely hear each other talk, but we just keep working. The 793006 area is a nice place to be, and the neighbors in R R Colony are friendly enough. We just focus on getting the stitches right and making sure the clothes look decent before they go out the door. It is simple work.
