We are located at 207, Upper Lachumiere. It’s a bit of a quieter part of town compared to the main markets and the noise of the city. Since we’re in the limestone mining business, there’s always a lot of details to keep track of every day. The office is where all the coordination happens. It’s not a very modern space at all; we have old wooden shelves filled with ledgers and maps of the area. You can tell we’ve been around for some time just by looking at the furniture and the worn-out floors. We spend a lot of our time talking to the sites on the phone and making sure the trucks are on schedule. It can be a bit stressful when the weather turns bad because the rain affects everything we do out there. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing here. We’re more likely to be found arguing over a shipping route or checking the equipment logs for errors. The staff here is small, and we mostly just get on with the work. There’s no big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes tacked up. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the local news or what's happening in the neighborhood. It’s a grounded way to work. We don't have any flashy advertisements. Most people who know us just know us through the work we’ve done over the years. It’s a simple business.
