You can find Indrani Tours & Travels up on the first floor of the Muda Complex. We are in Shop Number 24, and being so close to Police Bazar means it’s always busy and loud around here. There is always a lot of noise from the street, but it’s a good spot for a travel business. We focus on showing people around Shillong and the rest of these beautiful hills. It’s a great place to live, and we know the roads that don't get as much traffic. I started this because I liked traveling myself and wanted to help others see the sights. We have a small office where we plan out the routes and talk to customers. It’s not very big, just some chairs and a desk covered in maps and old brochures. We don't use any fancy sales talk or marketing gimmicks. We just tell you what the weather is actually like and which waterfalls are worth the drive right now. Sometimes the rain gets really heavy, and we have to change plans last minute, but that’s just part of life in Meghalaya. We help with car rentals and hotel bookings too. Most of our customers are families looking for a short break. We try to keep our prices fair for everyone. It’s a lot of work coordinating with all the drivers and making sure everyone is where they should be at the right time. I’m usually there from the morning until the shops in the complex start closing up. If you are in the area, stop by.
