If you know where the Puja Mandap is on Jail Road in Shillong, then you know where we are. We operate out of Jaba Roy’s place. It has a very local vibe here. Being in Shillong, the weather is often wet and cold, so we spend a lot of time inside the office keeping things dry and organized. Indija Pharmaceutical is a small operation. We don’t have a big marketing department or a fancy lobby. It is mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of boxes of documents. We handle the pharmaceutical side of things for the local area and the surrounding hills. It is steady work. Some days are busier than others, especially when the shipments arrive and we have to check everything against the invoices. The hills can make transport a bit tricky sometimes, but we are used to it. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The office feels more like a home than a workplace because it is part of a residence. We don’t use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned hard work and keeping a close eye on the details. We aren't looking to expand into some giant corporation. We are happy just doing our jobs here on Jail Road and making sure the supplies get to the clinics that need them. It is a simple life, but the work is important to us and the people who live around here.
