Flights Jockey

Our office is up here in Shillong, specifically in the Race Course Area. We’re at Office 29. It’s not a huge place, just a regular space where we handle flight bookings for people around the East Khasi Hills. Some days it gets quite cold outside, so we stay in and keep the computers running. We’ve been at this address for a while now. People usually find us when they’re looking to get out of the hills or if they’re coming back home for the holidays. There isn't much to say about the decor; it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a few stacks of papers that we need for the records. We spend most of our time looking at screens and trying to figure out the best routes for whoever walks through the door. It’s a lot of typing and phone calls, really. The Race Course area is decent, and we like being here because it’s easy for folks to drop by when they are in town. We don’t go in for anything fancy or big slogans. We just open up in the morning, check what’s available on the systems, and help people get their tickets sorted without too much fuss. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we manage to get things done. It’s just us doing our daily work in Shillong, making sure the travel plans get handled properly for whoever needs them.
