Dwarka & Co

We've been at Ghari Khana for a while now. Most people know us because we're right near the Kali Mandir in Barabazar. Shillong is a busy place, and Garikhana gets quite crowded during the day. Our office at Dwarka & Co isn't fancy or anything, just a workspace where we get through the daily tasks. We deal with various things here. It's mostly just regular paperwork and keeping track of things for the people who come by. We see a lot of different faces every week. Some are old neighbors, others are just passing through the area. Being in this part of town means there is always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a bit. We don't really do much advertising. People usually just find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in the market. The building is simple. We try to keep things organized so we can find what we need when someone asks a question. It's not a big team, just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. If you are looking for Dwarka & Co, just head toward the temple area and you will see the sign. We stay open during the usual hours and try to help out whoever walks through the door. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. Sometimes it rains heavy here in Shillong, but we’re usually at our desks regardless. That is just how it goes.
