Sri Lakshmi Vinayaka Minerals

Our place, Sri Lakshmi Vinayaka Minerals, is over at 78-9-21 in Ss Colony. We are in the Kothapeta area. It is a bit of a mix here between people living their lives and small businesses like ours doing their work. We deal with minerals, so there is always a bit of a mess. You can't really avoid the dust when you are handling this kind of material. We have a small yard and some storage space. It’s not a corporate office with air conditioning. We mostly work with the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through Ss Colony. The days start early because it’s better to get the heavy work done before the sun gets too high. We have a few regular workers who have been with us for a long time. We know their families and they know ours. It is just a basic operation. We don’t have a website or anything like that. People just come by or call the phone. The truck drivers know the turns to get into our part of Kothapeta, even though the roads can be a bit narrow for them. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in and what goes out. It is honest work. The walls are stained from the materials we handle, and the gate squeaks every time someone opens it. We just keep at it day after day. It is a steady way to spend the years.
