Siddhartha Hospital

Our hospital is right on Temple Street. It’s a building that’s been here for a while and most folks in the area know it as Siddhartha Hospital. We have different sections for different medical needs, like a general ward and a few private rooms. It’s a functional place, nothing too flashy. The floors are tiled and we keep them mopped throughout the day. You’ll see nurses and staff moving around constantly between the rooms and the front desk. Being on Temple Street means it can be a bit busy outside, but inside we try to keep things orderly for the patients. We deal with a variety of health issues, from minor injuries to people who need to stay for a few days of observation. We don’t have a big PR department or anything. We just focus on the medical side of things. The waiting area has some benches where families sit and wait for news. We try to be direct and clear when we talk to people about their health. It’s a lot of work keeping everything running, from the laundry to the medical supplies. We’ve seen a lot of people come and go over the years. It’s just a regular local hospital doing what it can for the neighborhood. We’re here day and night because that’s what a hospital does. It might not be the biggest place around, but we stay pretty active. We keep the kettle going in the staff room for those late-night shifts.
