Pratt Whitney

Our place, Pratt Whitney, is located out in Kontamuru, which is in Andhra Pradesh. The pin code here is 533103, just so people can find it on a map if they are looking. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it is where we have set up our operations. The air is a bit different than in the big cities, which we mostly like. Most days start pretty early because we want to get things moving before it gets too hot in the afternoon. We have a few rooms here where everything happens. It is not some massive corporate headquarters with glass walls. It is just a functional space where we handle what needs to be handled. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow, but we make do with what we have. Most of the people working here are from around the local area, so we all know each other’s families and what is going on in the village. It makes the workday go by a bit faster when you are working with neighbors. We don’t really do much advertising or anything like that. People who need us usually find their way here eventually. We just keep the doors open and stick to the tasks we have for the day. It is a quiet way of doing business, but it works for us and the people in Kontamuru who know where we are located.
