Omm Agroexim Private Limited

We’ve set up Omm Agroexim in Flat B of the Vijayasindhu Residency. It’s located at 37-2-14 on Market Street in Kakinada. Being on Market Street means it is always noisy and crowded outside, which is actually pretty helpful for staying connected to what’s being traded. We focus on agro-exports and imports here in the East Godavari area. The office is just a regular flat where we’ve set up some desks and filing cabinets. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have visitors, but it works for us. We spend most of our time talking to traders and making sure our export licenses are up to date. Kakinada is a major port city, so we are always watching the ship schedules. If a boat is coming in, we are usually down there making sure our cargo is handled right. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do. It’s just about moving food and agricultural goods from one place to another. Sometimes the traffic on Market Street makes it hard to get anywhere quickly, but we’ve learned to plan around it. Most of our staff are locals who have been around the trade for years. We just keep things moving and try to make sure our suppliers are paid on time. It’s a busy life, but we like being in the middle of the city's trade hub.
