We are located right on the Main Road, so there is always noise from the traffic outside our door. Most days at Fashnz Designer Boutique, you’ll hear the sound of sewing machines running in the back room while we talk to customers out front. It’s a small space, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of fabric rolls delivered. We spend most of our time measuring, cutting, and trying to get the fit just right for whoever walks in. People bring in all kinds of photos of what they want, and we do what we can with the cloth they pick out. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which is just how it goes around here. We have a couple of tailors who have been with us for years, and they know how to handle the tricky materials that are hard to stitch. It’s not just about making clothes; it’s about making sure the zippers don’t get stuck and the seams stay put. We keep a lot of threads in every color you can think of stacked up on the shelves. Most of our day is spent pinned to a table or sitting at a machine. It's busy and messy with bits of thread everywhere on the floor, but that’s just part of the job. We just focus on the stitching and making sure people get their clothes back on time.
