Laurel Kids The Pre School

We are located just off Av Appa Rao Road, right near the Spencers store here in Rajahmundry. Laurel Kids is a small pre-school, so it’s mostly about the younger ones running around and making a lot of noise. The building is just a converted house, which makes it feel a bit more comfortable for the toddlers who are leaving home for the first time. We have some colorful mats on the floor and plastic chairs that are the right size for small children. There's a small outdoor area with a slide and a couple of swings that have seen a lot of use over the years. The heat in Rajahmundry can be tough, so we keep the coolers running as much as we can. Our teachers are mostly mothers from the neighborhood who know how to handle a crying child or a spilled water bottle. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It's just us, the kids, and a few toys. Parents usually drop their children off on their way to work or the market. The front gate is always kept locked for safety, and the security guy knows most of the parents by face. It's a simple, honest place. We spend the mornings singing songs and learning numbers. When it’s time for the afternoon nap, the whole place finally goes quiet for an hour. It’s just a local spot for the 533103 community.
