Sarma Associates

Sarma Associates is on the first floor at 1-19-1 in Sri Ram Nagar. It is a quiet enough spot once you get inside. We have a couple of rooms where we keep our maps and the computer. Sri Ram Nagar is a nice area, and we’ve seen it change over the years. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It is just a few of us here trying to keep things organized. Most of the time, we are just talking to people on the phone or going over legal papers for properties. Being on the first floor is nice because we can see the street from the window. We get a lot of local residents coming by just to ask about prices or what’s being built nearby. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just tell people what we know. If we don't know something, we say so. It’s a very straightforward way of doing things. Our office is a bit cluttered with old files, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time just keeping our notes in order. It’s not the most exciting work, but it’s what we do. We like the routine of coming into Sri Ram Nagar every day. It feels like home to us. We just keep the doors open and see who needs help with their property stuff. We try to keep our desk clean, but usually, there's a stack of papers somewhere that needs looking at before we close up for the evening.
