We are located right on Port Road in Kakinada. The address is D.No:16.24.208, and you can’t really miss it if you’re heading towards the water. Being so close to the port is important for what we do at Inchcape Shipping Services (I) Pvt.Ltd. There is always a lot of activity in this part of Andhra Pradesh. Ships coming in, trucks lining up, and plenty of dust in the air. Our office is a busy spot where we manage the shipping details and try to keep everything on track. It gets quite loud with the port traffic right outside the door. Sometimes the internet acts up when the weather gets bad, but we manage to get the work done anyway. We aren't big on corporate talk or fancy meetings. It's mostly just sitting at the desks, talking to captains, and making sure the cargo is where it should be. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but honestly, nobody here has the time to worry about that. We focus more on the ships and the schedules. Kakinada is a place that never really sleeps because of the port. You get used to the smell of the sea and the sound of the cranes. It’s a gritty kind of job, but it feels right being here on the ground. We have a small crew and we’ve been working together for a long time now. It’s hard work, but we like it just fine.
