Our ceramics business is based out in HK Peta, Rajahmundry. The site is located at RS NO: 70/1, 2, 3, 34. It’s a bit of a dusty place because of the nature of what we do, but that’s just expected when you work with tiles and clay all day. We spend most of our time on the shop floor or in the warehouse area rather than sitting behind a desk. It’s definitely not a clean, air-conditioned office environment. We are right in the heart of East Godavari, and we’ve been here long enough to know most of the other people in the trade. The work is physical and sometimes quite messy. We have piles of tile samples laying around and the sound of the machinery is pretty constant in the background. We aren't trying to sell you a dream or anything; we just sell ceramics. Our staff is a mix of older guys who have been doing this forever and some younger ones who are still learning the ropes. We don't have a corporate handbook or a list of company values printed on the wall. We just show up every morning, do the work, and hope the kilns stay at the right temperature for the batch. Sometimes things break or a batch doesn't come out right and we just have to start all over again. That’s just part of the game in this industry. It’s a practical business for practical people.
