Birdsnest Resorts

Birdsnest Resorts is out here in Geddada, near Maredumilli. It is a quiet place run by M. Siva Reddy and the rest of the family. We are tucked away in the greenery, which is what most people are looking for when they come this way. It isn't like those huge hotels in the city. We have a few rooms and a lot of trees around us. The air is different out here, much fresher than what you get in town. We spend a lot of our time making sure the grounds look okay and the rooms are ready for whoever shows up. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, but the roads are mostly fine these days. We don't have a big staff, just a few local people helping out with the cleaning and the food. Sometimes the weather gets a bit wild, especially during the monsoon, but that’s just part of living in the hills. We keep things pretty basic. People come here to get away from their phones and just sit outside for a bit. We don't do much advertising. Most folks hear about us from their friends or someone they know who stayed here before. It is a simple life running a resort in Geddada. We try to make sure there is enough water and the lights stay on. It’s a peaceful spot if you don't mind the sounds of the birds waking you up early. There is always some yard work to be done.
