Andhra Electronics Limited is situated out in the Apiic Industrial Development Park in Ramanayyapeta Kakinada. We are specifically at plots 34 and 35. It is a large area with lots of other companies around us. Being in an industrial park means there is always a lot of noise from trucks and machines nearby. We work with electronics, which means a lot of small parts and careful handling. The factory floor can get quite warm during the summer months in Kakinada, but that is just part of the job here. We have been here for a long time. The gates open early and the shift workers start arriving on their cycles or scooters. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. We don't talk much about goals or big plans, we just focus on the orders we have for the week. Sometimes parts arrive late and we have to scramble to catch up. Other times everything goes smooth. Ramanayyapeta is a bit of a trek from the main city center, but the industrial park is where all the work happens. We have a lot of locals working here who have been with us for years. It’s not a shiny new office, it's a working plant with grease and solder and real people making things. We just keep the lines moving and try to make sure everything leaving the gate is okay. It is a steady way to make a living for everyone involved.
