It’s mostly roads, drainage, and that kind of heavy lifting. It isn't the sort of work that gets you a lot of thanks, but it's necessary for the town to function. Our yard is usually full of pipes, gravel, and heavy machinery. The office is just a small building where we keep the records and take calls. We aren't big on corporate culture or fancy meetings. Usually, our meetings happen over a cup of tea near a pile of sand. We have a crew of guys who have been with us for years, and they know the drill. Sometimes we run into problems underground that nobody expected, which can slow things down. That's just part of the risk when you're working with infrastructure. We don't use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone with marketing talk. We just show up, do the work we were hired to do, and try to make sure everything is solid. It’s a long day and a lot of hard work, but we take it as it comes. We just want to get the pipes laid and the roads paved right.
