Amma Hospital

Our place is over at number 8-3-55/1 in the Gandusheet area. It’s a bit of a specific address to find if you aren't from around here, but the locals know where we are. The building is tucked in among some other shops and houses. We have a small entrance that leads straight into the main ward area. It’s not a massive hospital like the ones you see in the city center, but we have enough space for what’s needed. We spend a lot of our time just managing the daily flow of people. Some days are slow and we just sit around talking, and other days we don't even have time to sit down. We have some basic equipment and a few beds that we keep tidy. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the neighbors walking by all day. We try to keep the paperwork organized, but the folders always seem to get mixed up on the shelves. There’s a certain way things work here, and we’ve all gotten used to the rhythm of it. We don't use any fancy systems, just a lot of pens and paper and a lot of talking to patients. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the lanterns, but we make do. It’s just a regular local hospital where we know most people by their first names. We just keep things running as best as we can every day.
