Youth Ki Awaaz Foundation

Our office is at House Number 384A on the ground floor, right on the Main Road in Maujpur. It’s near Holy Chowk. If you’re familiar with East Delhi, you know it’s a lively, crowded part of town. There’s always noise from the street coming inside. Youth Ki Awaaz Foundation is what we go by. We’ve been in this spot for a bit. The ground floor location is handy because people can just walk in off the street. It’s a bit dusty because of the traffic outside, but we try to keep it tidy. Inside, it’s mostly just desks pushed together and a lot of wires for the internet. We do a lot of our work with younger people. It’s a lot of talking and listening. We don't have a big corporate budget. Most of our furniture is stuff we’ve picked up over the years. It doesn't all match. We don't mind that, though. It feels real. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic with everyone talking at once. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a regular stove to make chai. We’re not here to give lectures or act like we know everything. We just want to give people a place where they can be heard. It’s busy and loud, but that’s just how Maujpur is. We’re glad to be a part of it. We just take things one day at a time and see what happens next.
