Our place is at 97 G/F in Bahu Bali Enclave, right near the Sai Mandir in Karkadooma. Being close to the temple means we hear the bells and the prayers throughout the day, which is actually quite nice. It’s a ground floor office, so it’s easy to step out for a quick break or to help a driver find the entrance. Karkadooma is a busy part of East Delhi, and the traffic around the temple can get a bit wild on Thursdays, but we’ve learned to work around it. Inside, it’s just a standard workspace. We have desks, some chairs that aren't the most comfortable, and a lot of paper. We handle exports, so there’s always a sense of urgency about getting things out on time. We don't use big words or pretend to be more than we are. We are just a group of people making sure that goods get sent where they need to go. Sometimes we get orders mixed up or a shipment gets delayed at the port, and those are the days we stay late and drink too much tea. We don't have a polished corporate image. Our walls have some scuff marks from moving furniture, and the files are organized in a way that only we understand. It’s a real, functioning office where the work is practical and the days are long, but we like the rhythm of it. We just try to get the day's work done without too much drama.
