The Neuro Psychiatry Centre

We set up The Neuro Psychiatry Centre in Preet Vihar, along the main Vikas Marg. This part of Delhi is always moving, but inside our doors, we try to keep things a bit more quiet. Mental health and nerve issues are things people don't always like to talk about, so we wanted a place that felt more like a regular office than a big scary hospital. It’s a simple space with a few consultation rooms. People come to us when they are feeling overwhelmed or having trouble with their sleep or mood. We also look at neurological things, like headaches or more complex brain stuff. It’s not a very big center, but we have what we need to sit down and talk to patients properly. The location is good because the metro is close and the buses stop nearby on Vikas Marg. We don’t have any polished marketing or big promises. It’s just a place where we try to understand what’s going on with someone’s health. Sometimes the sessions run long and people have to wait, but that's the nature of this kind of work. We’ve been in Preet Vihar for a while now and the locals know us. It’s a job that needs a lot of patience, both from us and from the people who come to see us. We just take it one day at a time and do the best we can.
