You can find us at Swirlocean Food Industries Private Limited, way up on the 10th floor of Roots Tower in Laxmi Nagar. Being in the District Centre means we are right in the heart of East Delhi. Our office is Flat No. 1030. From up here, we can see a lot of the city, but we are usually too busy with the food industry stuff to look out the window much. We do a lot of the back-end work for food production and logistics. It's a lot of coordination between the people making the food and the places where it ends up. Since we are in a high-rise, it feels a bit different than a street-side shop, but the work is still the same. We deal with suppliers, check on the factory updates, and handle the paperwork that comes with being a private limited company. It’s not all clean and perfect; there are boxes in the corners and the printer usually jams when we are in a hurry. We are just regular people trying to make the business work in a competitive city like Delhi. We’ve been at this for some time now. Some days are slow, and other days the phones won’t stop ringing. We take it as it comes. It is a decent spot to work from, even if the lift takes a while during lunch hours. We just focus on the food side of things.
