Sustainable World Learners Foundation

We are Sustainable World Learners Foundation, and you can find us at C-153 on the ground floor in Surajmal Vihar. It’s a pretty decent area, and having a ground-floor spot makes it easy for people to just drop in when they see us working. We aren't some big environmental corporation with a lot of slogans. We just care about learning and how to live a bit more sensibly in this world. The office is basically a few rooms where we keep our books and some project materials. It’s a bit messy sometimes because we always have something going on, whether it's sorting out papers or planning a local meet-up. Surajmal Vihar is a nice place to be based, and we feel lucky to have a permanent spot here. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive signage. Most of our budget goes into the actual work we do with people. You might find us sitting outside on the porch sometimes when the weather isn't too hot. We are just regular people who think that learning is the best way to change things. There’s no big hierarchy here; everyone just chips in and does what needs doing. If the trash needs taking out, one of us does it. If a neighbor needs help with something, we stop what we're doing. It’s a very practical, down-to-earth kind of place where we just try to be useful to those around us.
