Sustainable Tourism Foundation

The Sustainable Tourism Foundation is based at D-32 in Suraj Mal Vihar, which is over in East Delhi. Our pin code is 110092 if you are looking us up on a map. It’s a regular building in a residential-commercial mix of a neighborhood. We have been here for some time now and it feels like home to the team. We don't have any big signs or fancy lighting. Inside, you will find some desks, a few chairs for guests, and stacks of paper that we really should organize better. We spend a lot of time on the computer or out meeting people, so the office is sometimes quiet and sometimes very loud. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big office. We just need a place to keep our things and a roof over our heads while we work. The street outside can get quite busy with cars and people going about their business, but once you are inside, it’s okay. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going through the afternoon. It is just a small group of us here. We don't use any of that corporate talk because that isn't who we are. We are just regular people in Delhi doing what we can for the foundation. If the internet goes down, we just take a break and talk. It’s a very human way of working and we wouldn't have it any other way.
