I work out of my place in Sahyadri Apartments, which is at Plot No 9 in the IP Extension area of Patparganj. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it stays fairly calm compared to the main markets. I’ve lived and worked here for a while now. My setup is just a desk in the corner of one of the rooms in D 6. It isn't a big office with a sign outside or anything like that. Most people who come by are just neighbors or people I’ve known for years through work. Patparganj is a good spot because the metro isn't too far and you can get around easily. I spend my mornings catching up on emails and my afternoons in meetings or doing paperwork. The apartment complex has a nice bit of space to walk around if I need a break from the screen. Sometimes the kids playing downstairs get a bit loud, but it’s a nice sound to have in the background. It is just me doing my thing, keeping track of projects and making sure I don’t miss any deadlines. There’s no team here, just a one-man show trying to stay organized. I keep my files in a cabinet by the window. It’s a simple life and a simple way to work. My wife brings me tea around four o'clock and that's usually the highlight of the workday. It's quiet and it works for me.
