Sunshine Dental Clinic

Mandawali can be a bit of a maze sometimes, especially if you aren’t used to the turns in Gali No-13. We are located right at A-4. It’s a busy spot, mostly locals coming in and out all day. We start the morning by opening the shutters and getting the dental chairs ready. There’s always someone waiting before we even get the lights on properly. The neighborhood is loud, you can hear the bikes and the vendors outside Sunshine Dental Clinic while we work on people’s teeth. It’s not a fancy place, just a regular clinic where we try to get through the appointments. Sometimes the tea man comes by around eleven and we take a quick five-minute break if it isn't too crowded. The walls are painted a simple color and we have some old magazines in the waiting area that nobody really reads anymore. Mostly people just look at their phones. Mandawali has changed a lot over the years, more shops popping up everywhere, but we’ve stayed here in this same gali. It gets quite dusty in the afternoons when the wind picks up, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the front desk. It is just part of the daily routine here at the clinic. We know most of the neighbors by name now. It feels like a small community even though the city is so huge. We just keep things moving, one patient at a time.
