Laxmi Nagar is one of those places that never really sleeps. It is incredibly crowded and there is always something happening on the street. Our office at G 45 is tucked into this busy landscape. It is a small space but we make it work for everything we need to do. The walk from the metro station is always an adventure because of all the people and shops. Inside our doors, it is a bit more peaceful. We have our computers set up and a couple of filing cabinets that are starting to get full. We drink a lot of water because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. The walls are a plain color and we don't have any fancy art or anything like that. We are just here to do our jobs and go home. Most of us have been working here long enough to know the best spots to grab a quick lunch nearby. The building itself is older, but it has a lot of character. We deal with a lot of phone calls and paperwork throughout the day. It is a bit chaotic sometimes, but we are used to the noise from the market outside. It is just the reality of being in this part of the city.
