S.M. Flanges Private Limited

Our workshop is at Plot No. 401 in the F.I.E. area of Patparganj. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s packed with small factories and workshops. At S.M. Flanges Private Limited, we spend most of our time around metal. Flanges are what we do, so there’s always the sound of cutting and grinding going on. The air usually smells a bit like oil and hot steel. We have a couple of big machines that take up most of the floor space. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We all wear old clothes because they’re going to get dirty anyway. We get orders for different sizes and we try to get them finished in batches. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to sit around and wait for it to come back on. That’s when we usually sit by the main door to catch a breeze. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the invoices and the delivery notes. It’s a practical setup. We don’t have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in, ask for what they need, and we see if we can make it happen. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Patparganj is a tough place to navigate, but we’ve been here long enough to know all the shortcuts.
